AEI has provided engineering services for the Glasgow Municipal Airport for over 30 years. The facility is located just east of Interstate 65, along KY 90 within the city limits of Glasgow, KY. Moore Field supports an average of 257 aircraft weekly and is the base for 27 aircraft and 2 helicopters. AEI has worked tirelessly with the Board Members and the Airport Managers to make consistent improvements and strive to provide consistent and clear communication while utilizing our multitude of services and past experience in doing all we can to improve the airport facility. AEI has served the Airport Board by providing also quarterly reports, performing administrative work, preparing billing, providing high quality and timely design related deliverables, administering and Inspecting contracted work, and securing funding. The volume and diversity of projects AEI has provided at the airport is impressive. Some more recent examples include:
• 2015 RSA improvements and TW drainage repair.
• 2014 Property Acquisition – Obstruction Removal.
• 2013 Apron crack repair and seal coat.
• 2011 Runway / Taxiway crack repair & seal coat.
The turnaround time between grant approval (August 18, 2011) and construction plans was minimal, however AEI produced a final set of bid plans and orchestrated the construction to be completed in only 5 days. 45,450 l.f. of cracks. The project was completed October 30, 2011 on schedule, within budget and with zero change orders

Identify trees that were in violation of the approach and transitional surfaces and needed to be removed to protect the approaches into the airport.
