AEI leveraged years of I-65 and I-69 interstate and interchange experience for selection by KYTC for a project to improve the roadway geometrics on I-71 in Gallatin County. Excited to be kicking this off as our first KYTC project of 2019.
KYTC Selection for Leitchfield Bypass Phase II
AEI worked with KYTC and the City of Leitchfield for three years understanding the traffic and stakeholder needs stemming from significant manufacturing and quarry operations in the region. Our performance and tenacity was rewarded with selection for Phase II design of KY 3155 in Grayson County.
Shive Lane Corridor Improvements
AEI is proud to have been awarded the Shive Lane Corridor Improvements project by the City of Bowling Green. Nestled in an area of rapid growth, the roadway improvements include a new, single-lane roundabout.

2018 Society of American Military Engineers Kentuckiana Post Excellence in Small Business Award for A/E Services
Outstanding performance on AEI's Geotechnical Services IDIQ contract with the USACE Louisville District, including a geophysical survey and mapping to support the design and construction of Veterans Administration Medical Center facility expansions in Canandaigua, New York, has garnered AEI its second consecutive Society of American Military Engineers Kentuckiana Post Excellence in Small Business Award for A/E Services.
Celebrated Jerry Anglin's 50-year Transportation Career
AEI closed out 2017 in celebration of Jerry Anglin's remarkable 50-year career in the transportation industry. Jerry, who has traversed all 120 counties in Kentucky and worked in all three branches of state government, is a Local Government Liaison with AEI. President Ben Quinn, Jr. presented Jerry with a framed print of My Old Kentucky Home with well wishes embossed at the bottom from several of the Secretaries of Transportation that Jerry has worked with throughout his impressive career.
Land Surveying for the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet and Kentucky Communications Network Authority
AEI was selected by the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet to provide land surveying for the Kentucky Communications Network Authority (KCNA) West and West Central Areas.
Proud to assist KCNA with its continuous improvements and expansion of high-speed internet connectivity across the Commonwealth.
Leitchfield Bypass - KY 3155
AEI provided transportation design for the City of Leitchfield with an eye toward Performance Based Flexible Solutions, making us KYTC's choice for Preliminary Engineering and Environmental Services on the Leitchfield Bypass.
We appreciate KYTC's vote of confidence and look forwarding to serving the Cabinet and City of Leitchfield on the project.
Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport
AEI was selected by the Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport Board for a 5-year contract to provide engineering services.
We have looked forward to the opportunity to support this facility since opening our Owensboro office in 2009.
Warren County - KY 884, Three Springs Road
KYTC selects AEI as prime firm for final roadway design services to increase the safety and mobility for motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists along the KY 884 Corridor from Long Road to the Natcher Parkway.
As always we look forward to working with KYTC.
Montgomery County - US 60
KYTC selects AEI as prime firm for preliminary design services to improve mobility and safety along US 60 from Bentbrook Drive to KY 686 (Mt. Sterling Bypass) intersection in Montgomery County.
