AEI recognized by the American Public Works Association Kentucky Chapter as the 2021 Consultant of the Year for our work on the Southwest Parkway and Shive Lane Phase I roadway design projects in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

AEI's Rhandi Gallegos and Tom Fravel receive a 2020 ACEC-GA Engineering Excellence Honor Award for the Forsyth County Settingdown Road at Martin Road Roundabout.

AEI was recognized as the 2019 Society of American Military Engineers Small Business of the Year at the Federal Small Business Conference for the Architect/Engineer/Contractor (A/E/C) Industry in Dallas. AEI was one of 29 small business firms nominated from across the U.S.

AEI and the National Park Service were awarded an ACEC-KY 2019 Engineering Excellence Grand Award for the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS) compliant Mammoth Cave Echo River Trail.

Proud recipient of an ACEC-GA Engineering Excellence Merit Award for design of the East Cherokee Drive at Gaddis Road Roundabout.

Our most recent recognition for support to Federal programs is back-to-back-to-back 2019, 2018 and 2017 SAME Kentuckiana Post Small Business Awards for Excellence in A/E Design Services. We are extremely proud of this recognition from our partners and peers and consider it tangible evidence that AEI is a focused, low risk USACE partner on civil works and MILCON assignments nationwide.

The Western Kentucky University Denes Field Reconstruction wins a National Recognition Award in the ACEC 2018 Engineering Excellence Awards competition.

The Cellar at Maker's Mark Distillery wins a National Recognition Award in the ACEC 2018 Engineering Excellence Awards competition and a Grand Award from ACEC-KY.

AEI recognized as a firm that demonstrates outstanding achievement in staff growth, productivity, business development, overhead management, and turnover.

Outstanding performance on AEI's Geotechnical Services IDIQ contract with the USACE Louisville District, including a geophysical survey and mapping to support the design and construction of Veterans Administration Medical Center facility expansions in Canandaigua, New York, has garnered AEI its second consecutive Society of American Military Engineers Kentuckiana Post Excellence in Small Business Award for A/E Services.
