Our goal is to incorporate sustainable design practices into each project while maintaining an awareness for the needs, desires, and available resources of our clients. We strive to work with the other members of the project team to strike a delicate balance of project costs and environmental stewardship. It is our desire that this commitment to sustainability leads to individual actions that enhance human quality and foster a transition toward sustainability.

AEI is continuously looking for new ways to enhance our operations in a more environmentally friendly manner. We have drastically reduced our use of paper through electronic file sharing. The re-use of many common office supplies such as binders and file folders saves thousands of dollars a year while reducing the impact on our landfills, while teleconferences and electronic documents aids in reducing travel and shipping expenses and minimizes pollution.
